Let me explain some more. If you call someone and they don't pick up, do you leave a message?
 
No. My voice sounds horrible on the phone.

Everyone has caller ID nowadays so they'll see that I called and return the call.
 
Its not rude. Ive had people tell me not to leave a message unless its important. Its easier just to check the caller ID and call back.

If it's important, yes, otherwise no. I will call back or text though.

No for the reason that people don't return my calls.
 
I said, "no never" but that's not true. It's mostly never. I do it for holidays, birthdays, etc if they don't pick up. I won't continue to spam the person with calls, though.
